Love for design
Baddydesign is a graphic design studio runned by freelance designer Bjarney Hinriksdóttir and offers beautiful and creative solutions through print, web and digital design. In order to best understand clients needs and bringing forth the right solutions, Baddydesign works closely together with clients, allowing them to be included in the process. Teaming up with other freelancers, when required for the job, Bjarney has a great network of people around her, including printers, web-developers and copy writers.
Bjarney studied Graphic design and Illustration in Milan, Italy. After graduating, in 1999, she landed a job as a graphic designer in Milan and I stayed in Italy for another three years. She moved back to Iceland to work as an Art director at the advertising agency Hvíta Húsið, where she worked for seven years, untill founding her own studio, Baddydesign, in 2010. At the same time she moved to Barcelona to do a Master program in Branding/Corporate Identity, at Elisava, Barcelona school of Design and Engineering. She is passionate about design, especially finding the right color combination and working with type.
Key areas, in 20 years of work experience, include: Art direction, web-design, advertising campaigns in every media, branding, corporate identity design, book-covers, event design, cd-covers, packaging, editorial design, illustrations, direct mails, logo design, posters, outdoor-advertising, amongst others.
Baddydesign is currently based in Reykjavík, Iceland.

2005: Eurobest Gold award for TV spot “Slow down“, a campaign against speed-driving.
2005: New York Festival bronze award for TV spot “ Slow down“.

2005: Short list nomination at Cannes Lion, for TV spot “Slow down”.
